Read something you enjoy every day. It doesn\u2019t matter what it is. Go to a bookstore. Browse and look around. See what you like. Create a reading culture in your own life. Learn to read for fun and you will be more confident on test day. At this point don\u2019t worry about speed.<\/p>\n<p>2. Next learn how to apply the reading skills on the test. This is where you need a strategy. Use the skills of skimming, scanning, and reading for detail. Do practice tests after you have learned the strategy and practiced it.<\/p>\n<p>3. Try this exercise: choose a newspaper article, read it, write down everything you remember for 5 minutes only.
